We had breakfast here this morning and it was great. The coffee is equally as great as the food. Service was fast and friendly, never short of a smile. Try the Turkish Breakfast, exquisitely exotic and flavourful. Also had egg Benny with just the right amounts of hollandaise and balsamic vinegar and a side of kale. We are making thus our breakfast venue in South Bank

Visited for Sunday breakfast. We ordered the Big Breakfast and the Turkish Eggs. The food quality was actually very good; the Turkish Eggs were the standout dish and superior to the Big Breakfast. However, the value for money was poor. The menu prices do not include protein (e.g., adding bacon or ham is an extra charge), and combined with a 15% Sunday surcharge, the bill for two people came to $100. The service was also low-energy, with initial confusion regarding seating. Additionally, there were no salt and pepper shakers on the tables, requiring multiple groups to flag down staff. Coffee was okay, but the price is high for the level of service provided.

Poppies has become a real family favourite for pre theatre dining when my son and go to shows at QPAC. We always choose a selection of Small Plates to share, and without exception, the food is terrific. Ditto for service and atmosphere. Recommend Poppies for its delicious food, friendly and welcoming service, and the nice outlook onto the Southbank Parklands.

Amazing food and great atmosphere. Wish I had got my friends Keto Benny rather than my chicken burger though. The chicken was fantastic but I wasn't a huge fan of the head of lettuce being used on the burger. Was easy enough to pick off though.

We came to Poppies tonight after the matinee show at QPAC. We ordered the seafood banquet for two. Food came out in great time - our waiter Leo and waitress Ria were amazing. The calamari and stracciatella and Turkish fig dip was so tasty - and the mains of snow crab linguini and grilled barramundi was so fresh and delicious. We we also given a beer and wine with our banquet. We also ordered cocktails the Pink Poppy and the Blackberry Orange spritz - YUM. We will definitely be back - thanks for having us

Another breakfast after a parkrun, very happy with the big breakfast they served up, big enough for 2 of us to share, as we don't normally have breakfast. Enjoyed the matcha latte too. Overall very happy with the experience.
